Steve Jobs famously said, “good design is not how it looks, it’s how it works”. This is very true for your business website.
It’s not enough to have a pretty design – your site needs to work well too. This means it needs to be user-friendly and help your site visitors easily find and accomplish what they need to on your site. Clear navigation, structure, and an organized information architecture are just as important as beautiful graphics, if not moreso.
Your site should also be built with conversion in mind. Your website is your most powerful marketing tool. You use it to build trust, collect leads, and make sales. When you build your site with conversion in mind, your business goals will be achieved much easier.
If this all sounds great, but you don’t know the first place to start, then look no further than the free challenge that I am running February 15th-19th, 2016. The “5 Days to a Smarter Website” challenge will walk you through a simple step each day that you can take towards having a smarter, higher-converting website.
The challenge is taking place inside a private Facebook group where I will post a short video and task each day. In the group you can ask questions, get advice or feedback on your website, and engage with the other challenge participants. By the end of the week, you will know a ton more about what makes an effective business website!
Click here to visit the Facebook group and click join. Request access to the Facebook group now and your request will be accepted on February 15th.
After the challenge, the group will stay open as a place for entrepreneurs to discuss and learn more about website strategy.
